About Natalie
A portrait made with love, for the bond that lasts a lifetime
Why I paint
I'm a lifelong pet lover who knows first‑hand how much joy, comfort and companionship animals bring into our lives. Creating portraits is my way of celebrating those happy moments or paying tribute to a beloved friend who has shaped your story.
I take time to understand the soul of each pet, adjusting my style to capture their unique personality and presence. My portraits resemble the photos you share, but they become something more — art that brings life, warmth and character to the image.
Every piece is crafted to honour the bond you share and preserve it in a way that feels true and heartfelt.
What guides every portrait
The principles behind the work
Soul over likeness
A great portrait captures personality, not just appearance. I study every photo carefully to find the expression that says the most about your pet.
Crafted by hand
Each piece is painted by hand in acrylic on canvas or canvas board — no digital filters, no shortcuts. Just paint, patience and care.
Your story, preserved
Whether you're celebrating a living companion or honouring one you've lost, the portrait becomes a lasting piece of your family's story.
Beyond pet portraits
Landscapes, still lifes & more
Pets are my great passion and a source of endless inspiration — but painting is a world without limits. I also create landscapes, still lifes and other works that I'd love to find a home for.
Any of the pieces below are available to purchase, and I'm equally happy to take on a commission for a landscape or still life. Simply use the enquiry form, select "Other" as your pet type, and attach or describe the piece you have in mind.

For businesses
Bring art to your pet-friendly space
If you own or manage a cat café, pet shop, grooming salon or any animal-friendly venue, I'd love to help you create a space that feels as warm and welcoming as the animals inside it. Portraits of your much loved residents, framed originals or a curated collection — get in touch and let's talk about what would work for your premises.
